My little grandson, Cooper. A tired little boy!
It's planting time in Marion County. This picture is from a few years ago, of my brother-in-law, Chuckie, planting a garden full of sunflowers with a corn planter. His son, Stuart, was standing by, helping move the stakes that held the rope that helped his dad keep his rows straight. Funny...I don't see evidence of the rope in this picture.
Chuckie has been busy with other pursuits lately - weddings of daughters and building on an addition to his house (mostly by himself), so he hasn't been gardening so much lately.
This day in the garden was beautiful, though. A nice day!
Sometimes there's just no other way around it... every once in awhile you've just gotta pay the local doctor $50 to get your own signs back. Even if they're all bent up. And even if it's through a middle man like Obie Slater!!!!
