That photo is beautiful. Working in LTC, Too often I hear children say, "that's not my father, it's only a shell of what he once was." Just because a person has alzheimer's or dementia doesn't mean that they no longer crave support and affection of family members they may not recognize anymore. Hidden deep down, there is always a small part of that person that will remain with us to the end. To me, this photo speaks mountains....
