A View with a History

 

In the beginning of the anglo colonization, Basil Prather, William Ray (founder of Raywick), John Stewart, and Thomas Scott, along with many others came to the western end of modern-day Marion County by way of the Rolling Fork of the Salt River. Thomas Scott was granted 15,000 Acres of mainly knob ridges and hollows.

Today it is known as Scott’s Ridge and

                                         what a view!
