The Probus-Anzelmo Legacy

Here is my grandfather, C. Melvin Probus, KyLS #727. He was the “de facto” Marion County Surveyor from 1956 to 1986. Granny “Allene” was often the chainman on his surveys and served Lebanon as a Nurse at the old Hospital on Proctor Knott for many, many years. This photo was taken aroung the time of my parents wedding (Mary Ann Probus and Sam S. Anzelmo, Jr.) in 1966, I do believe.
