DAY 97: JEFF DAVIDSON

One of the most sad and unfair situations I have ever known in my whole life culminated in the death of Jeff Davidson. He was from Tennessee, but had made Bardstown his home.

Before he died, he was stripped of everything. Everything. EVERYTHING.

I am confident that history will show that Nelson County should be ashamed...VERY ASHAMED!

I would not begin to put up some little blurb here about this man--nothing I could say here would do him justice. He was a friend of Presidents. And the most famous entertainers ( if you put John Wayne in a category of "entertainer").

Jeff Davidson was something else.

He was a person that Bardstown could not deal with.

He is pictured here in his last days with one of his beloved dogs.

Jeff would not mind my posting this picture, I am sure.

Rest in peace, big guy. +

I am so sorry.

Check this link out. It has been up for awhile, and I hope it won't be taken down.

It contains pictures from the sale of Jeff Davidson's things.
Wish I could copy the pictures here, in case they are taken down. I have printed them out, but still wish I could easily post here. Oh well.

The little dog in the picture is deaf now! I just learned that this weekend. Little Spud can't hear any more.
