DAY 29: WELCOME TO WILLIE A'S!
Willie A’s is a new eatery in Lebanon, located in the former Bill’s Café building on Depot Street.
Tonight, the proprietors - Connie Rakes and her husband, Jimmy Tabor - served up a nice Friday seafood special with their golden fried catfish, creamy coleslaw and accoutrements. Yummy!
It says something about a place when you still feel welcome even as the owner of the establishment pulls out a shot gun from behind the counter! ; )
In all fairness, no one was in any danger - the gun was the subject of a charity raffle.
